Work on Kinsley’s Pike Road development breaks ground
Local developer hopes to bring new life to residential location
Construction began in Kinsley residential area, Montgomery, Alabama, for a new 577-acre neighborhood.
The community development will feature a range of amenities, including pickleball courts, a dog spa, parks, a splash pad, a pool and a fitness center.
Local developer, Lowder New Homes, won the contract and will be assisted by BSB, an architecture firm. “We teamed up with some of the best architects and engineers in the nation to plan Kinsley, and it’s going to show,” Lowder New Homes President Jimmy Rutland said in a news release.
“Over the last eight months, we’ve meticulously thought through every detail in the amenity areas and new home floorplans so we can provide the best living experience for our residents.”
All amenities are centered around a 16-acre lake. With walking trails surrounding the lake, an event lawn and green space, Kinsley is an excellent combination of modern amenities set on a natural landscape.
Brand new floorplans have been created, including modern features like a secure package drop area and a dedicated space for the family pet. The new floorplans provide functionality and flow to maximize each square footage.
“Kinsley was designed to offer residents a new way of living, not just a house on land,” Suzanne Mathison Smith, Vice President of Sales for Lowder New Homes, said in a report to the Montgomery Advertiser. “Imagine watching a sunset on the dock, bathing your dog at the spa after a walk on the trail, enjoying yoga on the fitness center lawn with views of the lake or playing pickleball with friends and family. That’s what Kinsley is.”
Work for home construction will begin towards the end of 2023.
