Operations Manager Kent Hamilton adds: “Many of our clients own older homes that have gone through multiple additions over the years and feel patched together. Over the last 14 years, Mancuso Homes has brought this vision to life across dozens of exceptional properties. Darren highlights a few of the company’s projects: “One current project is a historic property from the 1860s in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. It consists of a 2,500-square-foot addition along with a full custom renovation of the house.
“The front façade and original character of the home is being preserved, so we integrated our addition seamlessly into the historic structure. The result will be a beautiful blend of past and present – combining functionality and style.
“Another project highlight was a 6,000-square-foot whole-home renovation with a 3,500-square-foot addition on a lakefront property in Lakewood, Ohio. Originally built in 1915, this project features custom girder trusses with fabricated metal bolt connections spanning a 20-foot vaulted ceiling. The main room offers panoramic views of the lake through oversized windows and a wrap-around deck. The space exudes grandeur and openness, making it a truly stunning experience.
“We also completed another lakefront project nearby, a 5,900-square-foot home on a 1962 property. The challenge here was renovating the entire home while building a large, four-story addition at the rear. It was a delicate balance, but we preserved the original elements the clients wanted to protect while integrating one of the most advanced smart home systems we’ve installed to date. We were able to save and re-use original millwork, and we also re-created some original details that were not able to be preserved.”
