From mountaintops to riverside valleys, PureHaven Homes builds beautiful homes where client relationships are everything Remarkable relationships, extraordinary experiences and lasting memories’: that’s the promise delivered on every single project by Utah luxury homebuilder, PureHaven Homes. Founded by Shane Harr in 2006, the company has been making dreams come true for almost two decades. It transforms the stresses of the homebuilding process into a harmonious, enjoyable experience. Building a home with PureHaven goes beyond a mere contractor-client relationship: it’s a true partnership. Its clients are its passion. PureHaven is the builder that can deliver it all, for any goal and any lifestyle, from stunning mountaintop locations to peaceful river valleys, mountain modern to all-American architecture. 2025 marks PureHaven’s 19th year in business, and with its 20th anniversary on the horizon and many more exciting projects ahead, the company has plenty to look forward to. Modern Home Builders sat down with Jason Harr, Vice President of Operations at PureHaven, to discuss the company’s current projects and what might lie in the future. He starts by highlighting PureHaven’s history thus far, as well as its capabilities and specialties. “We are a high-end custom homebuilder on the Wasatch Back and in Eden Valley,” Jason begins. “Shane established the business 19 years ago, and ever since, we’ve been building custom homes for people here on the Wasatch Back. All our homes are client specific; no two are the same. There’s a whole slew of different home styles out there and we do them all. Generally, our projects are second homes or vacation homes for our clients, though some are permanent residences, and we like to really provide a custom experience for them.” Client collaboration is paramount for PureHaven, and the company strongly believes in the power of high-quality communication to provide the very best experience for its clients. No matter the distance, the company leverages state-of-the-art software to keep its clients updated on each stage of the project at hand, requiring weekly meetings to ensure a peace of mind every step of the way. “One of our strengths at PureHaven is our communication, because around 75 percent of our clientele are from out of state,” Jason explains. “One big thing that we use is Builder Trend, which is a computer software program that acts as a hub containing all the project information. Whether our clients live in Florida or New York, they can log in and have immediate access to daily logs, photos, budgets, and more. In addition, we, as a company, have a minimum of one meeting a week with our clients so that we can communicate on the status of the project over the past week, and they can ask us any questions they might have.” A large portion of PureHaven’s projects are built in rugged natural landscapes – stunning mountain terrains and flowing rivers and reservoirs. Employing careful construction to protect the environment on site, all PureHaven’s homes encapsulate the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding scenery, further instilling the feeling of calm and relaxation that comes with settling into the perfect home. “We just finished one project in Red Ledges for a repeat client – a couple from the Washington, DC area who we’ve built a great relationship with. This particular project is a beautiful mountain modern home with great views of Mount Timpanogos and a lot of cool features. It’s got an elevator, a bocce ball court, an awesome master bedroom, and a lot of great wall finishes and decorative beams,” Jason shares. “We also completed a job in SkyRidge, which was a part of our Park City Showcase of Homes. It was for a couple from Florida, and we had a great experience with them. It has radiant heat inside and out, rooftop decks, elevator, two master bedrooms, and captures views across Deer Crest and the Jordanelle Reservoir. This project gave us the opportunity to use mix up our traditional materials with those we don’t normally use, and it turned out great. “Relationships are huge in the building industry and referrals are king, not just in construction but everywhere else too,” Jason affirms. “The relationships that we’ve built with our clientele and with other industry professionals in the Heber Valley area have been critical to our longevity, as well as our excellent quality and trustworthiness. “Our priorities for the future are to continue to grow and improve,” he finishes. “There’s always room for improvement in providing great experiences for our clientele, both current and new.” PureHaven Homes will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026, and the company couldn’t be more prepared for the prosperous future ahead. Looking forward to the upcoming years, PureHaven’s passion for customer care will continue to be the beating heart of the business as it looks to innovate its internal processes to impress its clients. www.purehavenhomes.com 3 June 20252 June 2025 Iain 140, High-End, Jason Harr, Luxury, PureHaven Homes, Utah 5 min read Custom buildingInsights
