Modern Home Builders sits down with owner, Craig Tuttle, alongside the company’s Design Department Lead, Alec Tuttle, to learn more about the qualities that continue to differentiate the company in a competitive market. Alec begins our conversation by elaborating on the company’s capabilities.
“We do new construction, renovations, and additions. Often, our projects start with a client coming to us wanting to move things around in their kitchen, add a pantry, remodel a bathroom, and so forth, but Craig has a great mind for identifying all the things that we could do to enhance the home as a whole,” Alec explains. “Often, what starts as a simple renovation develops into a larger project once we help the client to visualize just what can be done. Our architectural drawings along with 3D renderings are detailed to the highest level which allows our clients to see exactly what they will be getting. This also allows us to price things out in a very unique way where everything is extremely transparent as every single receipt is provided to our clients as documentation.
“We deliver the whole package. We want to offer our clients not just a luxury home, but luxury service too,” he continues.

The company’s extensive scope of expertise is reflected in every project and, with almost 100 percent of its projects designed and documented in house by its expert architectural design team, Craig Tuttle Construction conceptualizes high-quality designs in line with market trends and clients’ unique wishes. 
“In terms of design trends, we’re seeing a lot of modernistic elements such as clean lines. We’re seeing warmth being reintroduced, moving from white and gray design trends to warmer tones, stained cabinets, and gold, brass, and bronze fixtures,” Alec elaborates. “The classic modern look, which puts a modern twist on traditionalism, is really popular because it offers an updated spin on that timeless architecture.”
As such, Craig Tuttle Construction is thrilled to share one of its most recent ongoing projects: its three lots in Timber Shores of Valley Nebraska. Surrounded by beautiful natural landscape, lush forestry, and picturesque riverfronts, these lots allow the company to offer something truly special to its design-build clients.
“Right now, we have three lots for sale in Timber Shores, each at approximately one acre. It is a unique opportunity for clients to purchase one of our beautiful lake lots and engage with us in our unique design-build process,” Craig says.
Craig Tuttle Construction is coming to the end of another highly successful year. In 2026, the company looks forward to making dreams come true for even more clients, whether that’s designing/building a luxurious new bathroom, an extensive renovation, or new residence.
