This unparalleled level of expertise permeates every aspect of its homes, from the foundation and basement to framing, drywall, insulation, roofing, and electrical work.
“My dad, Bob Webb, started the company and built his first house in 1960. Over the years, he continued creating more stunning homes, taking us to where we are today,” begins Becky Webb, President. She goes on to tell us more about the company’s current offerings. “We primarily offer property and land development, residential construction, and build empty nester and single-family houses.”
Bob Webb’s Chief Operations Officer, Brandon Belli, continues: “Additionally, we provide architectural services and boast an interior design studio with a designer who guides our customers through the process of selecting options and features they would like to see in their homes.”
Extensive experience
Asked what makes Bob Webb stand out from competitors, both Becky and Brandon seem to agree that it is its talented workforce. “One of our greatest strengths is the diversity and longevity of our team. Our interior design team has been with us for many years, and we all bring extensive experience to the table, not only in homebuilding, but also in our respective previous career fields, which are varied. For example, Brandon has a background in production, and I used to work in accounting and design,” Becky enlightens.
“Each of our team member’s unique specialty contributes to fostering an exceptional and versatile team. Equally important to us is our valued group of subcontractors, which was carefully curated by Bob and the Bob Webb team over the past six decades. They are the ones building our houses and helping us incorporate innovative items and products into our customers’ homes. As a custom builder, we are ready to do anything our clients can dream of, but we do rely on our subcontractors to keep us ahead of the game in terms of new features and products we offer,” adds Brandon.
On the topic of ongoing projects, Becky informs us that Bob Webb is involved in the construction of communities in the cities of Dublin and New Albany, Ohio. “Both of those communities are multi-generational, meaning that we can offer homes to two different groups of people,” she says. Brandon discusses the amenities the company will be offering to these demographics. “Half of the community is designed for empty nesters, while the other half caters to young families with single-family homes. Across both communities, we are trying to implement amenities that enable owners to entertain their guests. For instance, the empty nester homes may include fishing ponds for grandparents who would like to take their grandkids fishing. Additionally, we create spaces where families can entertain, such as bocce ball courts or gazebos for cookouts. Moreover, each community is connected to metro parks via walking trails, which is a feature most of our customers appreciate.”
Thoughtful design
Alongside these promising communities, Bob Webb is working on a couple more projects in Central Ohio, which Brandon is thrilled to describe. “We have a project going on within Liberty Township, a suburb very close to our office. Large lots are hard to find in the area, making it challenging to build bigger homes or pools, which are in high demand. Through this project, we are able to offer 1.5-acre lots, allowing clients to build spacious home and still have ample outdoor living areas. Furthermore, we have another subdivision getting ready to start in Jefferson Township, where we have done great work with our engineers and the Township. This environmentally friendly community is surrounded by extensive green spaces with a lot of trees. In fact, we have designed the lots to be interwoven to preserve almost all the trees. Construction is set to commence in the next couple of months, and everyone at Bob Webb is very excited about it. We believe people will truly appreciate the time, resources, and effort we put in to be able to retain the natural beauty of the site instead of clearing all the trees to make as many lots as possible,” he proudly affirms.
Always striving to be progressive and on the cutting edge, Bob Webb is committed to keeping up with trends and client feedback. “Becky consistently does a tremendous amount of research on design, bringing forward to our team concepts she has discovered. Besides this, we organize meetings with our subcontractor base every couple of months to discuss recent innovations such as new plumbing fixtures and more energy efficiency items, which are obviously in high demand right now. Because they understand our ambitions and ethos as a builder, our subcontractors do a great job of offering energy-efficient and environmentally friendly items that are a little more upper-end yet cutting-edge and innovative, which is very attractive to our customers,” Brandon points out.
In concluding the conversation, Becky reveals that the company is “very open to learning from customers because they are very well-informed these days. Indeed, they are doing their own online research and identifying features they may be interested in, so we do learn a lot from them, too.”
By prioritizing customer needs, delivering exceptional craftsmanship, and cultivating a team with diverse talents, Bob Webb consistently exceeds expectations and sets new standards in luxury home building. With a focus on energy efficiency and innovative design, the company is well-positioned to
cater to future generations of homebuyers. The ongoing projects in Dublin and New Albany are sure to further bolster Bob Webb’s reputation in Central Ohio’s homebuilding landscape.
